Holaaa! ❤️ It feels good to be back to the routines after some time off from work and from the blog. I love and need my routines, and after resting well for a week I feel well inspired again. I feel like going and buying myself a calendar and a notebook and start getting effective! Sorry for the absence, I've noticed that you guys have been checking if the blog has been updated. I don't know, it has just felt so irrelevant to write about fashion and outfits after what happened in both of my home countries last week. But like my friends husband always says, life goes on. But we won't ever forget. And the all the flowers and candles on la Rambla will keep reminding me daily for months to come. Maybe I'll write about it one day or maybe I won't, we'll see. Now I'll try to get back on track and get over the writers block that I've been suffering from for a week now.
Even though I was enjoying my few days of freedom to the fullest with no internet and no phone, I still carried my camera with me where ever I went. L'Escala is full of cute streets and colorful doors that I happen to love, so it wasn't too hard to find pretty spots where to take photos. We shot these ones on our way to the beach one day and I'm so glad that it occurred to me to start using this oversized shirt dress over the bikini. It's so short that it hasn't got lots of use even though I bought it last fall already. I think it looks fresh and scarp and it's a pretty classic piece to have in your wardrobe. My boyfriend says that it looks like a doctors uniform or that I left home in my dads shirt.. Men just don't get it like we do.
How do you like my new bag? I actually bought it that day on our way to the beach and we had to return back home to leave my other bag. I've wanted a straw bag for so long and now I finally went and got it! What is it with bags? They just make me so happy, hahah. Talk about material happiness.. I'm only going to use it as a beach and pool bag, but I do see lots of women using them in the city too and it looks good if you style it well. But I'm personally not a fan of the beach look in a city, I think the flip flops, bikinis and other beachwear are only for the beach. The summer's not over yet in Barcelona, so the straw bag will definitely get some more use this year! The Finn in me is already in autumn and wanting to wear chunky knits and boots and jackets and lit some candles. I guess that after three years I'm still not used to the fact that the summer doesn't end in August in Barcelona, like it usually does in Finland.
Do you remember when I was craving for those beige sunglasses in this
post? Well, here they are. I absolutely love oversized sunglasses and I find these round ones to be so cool. No, I still haven't got over the obsession to get the Tilda glasses from Céline, but they are totally different! Luckily you can wear sunglasses in Barcelona all year round, so I guess you can never have too many of them.
