After talking about it for a couple of years now, I'm starting my classes of Catalan today! I'm so happy about getting back to "school". I went to sign myself there yesterday and when I explained what I wanted to do to the lady working there, she was like "no sweetie, you have to be over 18 years-old to go to the classes". Hahah, it seriously made my day. I think they just haven't been used to a nordic face there..
Well, she believed me after showing her my passport and I filled all the needed papers with a feeling that "this can't work so smoothly". And it didn't, of course not. We are in Spain after all. After signing the papers the lady asked if I already have the book that I'll be needing on the classes and of course I didn't, I didn't even know what book it was until that. Well, she had the books right there, but I couldn't buy it from there. Instead, she gave me a piece of paper that I'll have to take to a specific bank and ask them to but a stamp on the paper after paying the book in the bank.. And then I'll, of course, have to go back to the place with the stamped paper to get the book. This is just so typical here, can't help but laugh really. And the banks close at 2pm already, so I couldn't go yesterday and I'll have to go to the first classes without the book.. What a retarded system we have here.
